Rest & Restore Retreat

A new initiative for the East Midlands LGBTQ+ community sponsored and made possible by our friends at wagamama.

The LGBTQ+ community in the East Midlands faces unique challenges, from discrimination and societal pressures to struggles with identity and acceptance. These challenges, compounded by recent global events, have left many individuals feeling isolated, exhausted, and in need of support.

The Rest & Restore Retreat offers a safe, supportive space to help participants restore their well-being through social connection, nature, and self-care practices.

Taking place 22nd - 23rd May 2025 at Nanpanton Hall

Why It Matters

Research shows that even short retreats can have lasting benefits, especially for marginalised groups. This retreat is designed to:

Reduce stress through relaxation, emotional release, and time spent in nature.

Strengthen resilience and equip participants with strategies to handle future challenges.

Our Mission

To provide a holistic approach to well-being, combining social connection, time in nature, self-care practices, and peer support. By the end of the retreat, we aim for participants to feel refreshed, empowered, and better equipped to manage their mental health.
